3rd-5th April 2025

The three days visiting El Planeron was simply amazing, although I didn't see any Sandgrouse but there was plenty of other goodies including two groups of Dotterel on the same day with just over fifty present.

Other unexpected species here were a Black Tern, three Whiskered Tern on the 4th.

Dupont's Lark were heard regularly and glimpsed a couple of times but not seen well.

Other notable species seen here; Quail, Purple Heron, Booted Eagle, Golden Eagle, Hoopoe, Iberian Grey Shrike, Calandra, Lesser Short-toed Lark, Calandra Lark, Western Bonelli's Warbler, Western Subalpine Warbler, Western Black-eared Wheatear.
