Pallas's Warbler at Dungeness - 20 Nov 2020

Image
It was frosty as I went out into the Dungeness "trapping area" at 0730.  I bravely ventured onward though.  Many didn't. 😁  As I reached the convergence point of the Long Pit and Pilot paths, I came across a small tit flock wandering in a Northerly direction.  A quick scan, and I was shocked to see there was a Pallas's Warbler amongst them.  I radioed the local birders and the Dungeness Bird Observatory warden, David Walker.  It wasn't long before he had arrived and was photographing the bird.  This was before I had a decent camera unfortunately, and am not sure if I took any snaps of it with my bridge camera.
